Coming out in Japan this January, this 3DS RPG from publisher FuRyu has… a very silly name, and very elaborate clothing.
Okay, moving on from the teaser art to these scans posted by Gematsu, it also has seven unique characters to choose from, and a “cartograph” gameplay system (basically drawing maps). The in-game character designs are much more Bravely D in proportion.
Well, well, well! Cleaning up sure can reward one with lost treasures.
Moving is never fun, but I sure am glad I have found this.

This is the bulk of the disc games I imported while in college. Why on a spindle? I wanted to take them to Japan, but all the boxes would have made my suitcase far too full. They made the trip in a binder and got put on a spindle because…. I don’t know why.
The shameful part? Outside of, Persona 3, DQ4, and Wind Waker, which was my first new import, I have completed none of these. (Well, DQ7 in English, and the FF games in the PSN release.)
Granted, the MCDs deck is empty and I am not sure if I will be even using it. But I completely restarted my old kanji deck from scratch.
I got caught up in some freelancing last year and the pileup was intimidating. So I did not study. Then it got worse. Then I felt bad. Then I tried to study and did not get far.
Then last week I reset my deck and have been studying kanji every day. Sure, years of progress went out the window. But as long as I felt bad about studying and ended up not studying I was losing kanji memory. So I ended up starting up again, and I feel good about it.
I love the Japanese box for this game. The U.S. box is so stuffy and proper, but this is a garish explosion of crazy manga art. Classic fantasy elements? Pfft, whatever. Here’s a dude with a laser cannon and a chainsaw and a woman who appears to have escaped from Phantasy Star.
As of my writing this. Wow, that is a heck of a lot of money. Donations will still be accepted until September 5, so get your pledges and final donations in.
I am super happy to see everyone having fun and still playing _Final Fantasy 5_. I have a few more ideas for next year and some things obviously need tweaking in the system. Including issues with Twitter and accounts being…
– Changed up for smother animations
– Added four digit counter
– Started iAd support
– Looks good maybe?
– This might be where to check for IAP
– Web page teaser done
– Created a way to show game over
– Started making size changes for iPhone 4/5
– Bug! Well, double clears can happen which animates weirdly. But chdoe should be put in to prevent that. – When…
